I have 2010 Trek 1.2 with worn FSA BB. its a Powerdrive 68mm * 107mm with spline fittings, crankset is FSA Vero compact double 50/34, 175mm , the rest is std 9 speed gear as it came from new.
problem is that this BB is not made anymore and so unavailable to buy.
Trek suggested EBAY in the US....

so as I have to buy BB and crankset, and want something a bit more 'standard' fitting, anyone have any good ideas or suggestions on what to fit ?
many thanks for any advice given.

I would go either square taper or Shimano Hollowtech 2 as both are widely available and offer lots of choices. For maximum lifespan a Shimano square taper cartridge BB is hard to beat.

MajorMantra thanks for the advice, think I need to check out BB spindle lengths and chain lines, are these available on line somewhere?

Generally a given chainset will have a recommended axle length which should be listed somewhere. Or for HT2 the axle is part of the chainset and there's only one type of BB.
