Those who've read my posts yuo'll be aware I have cervical spondylosis which limits my rides to about 30miles with painkillers, I have an extension fitted to my slipped stem on my cheap Carrera TDF. I am almost successful at chipping away at my wife to allow me to upgrade to a new bike.
Would a full carbon such as a RIBBLE with the basic spec or carbon forked cheaper cycle with a full bike fit paid for on help my ride comfort?

What recommendations would you give from your expert/experienced viewpoints

Probably be much better off with a good quality hybrid. That'll have you sat in a more upright position and I assume if your backs painful you'll not need/use drop handlebars anyway.

Its the top of the neck, Don't want a hybrid I like the drops I mostly use the hoods.

But whether I go for carbon frame, carbon forks or just alloy to smooth out the ride limiting the potential for vibration impact on my neck is the main Q and poss recomend a bike for under £1k

Trek domane with their clever decoupled seat post thingy.

Have you tried a double layer of bar tape? Seriously it works wonders for cutting down road buzz.
