Surrey has got £1 million to spend on a bike path that will link the Leisure centre in Walton on Thames to Shepperton & Halliford on the other side of the river.
There is a consultation that ends on 19th August, so time is tight.
There are a number of flaws with the current design, which at some points are dangerous (e.g. outside Aldi in Walton). Overall though it would be good to help kids cycle, so good to do something.
Please view the plans and fill out the consultation. If you think some parts are crap, tell them. It would be good to let the Surrey Engineers know that half hearted attempts at bike infrastructure should be things of the past.

Looks like quite a few have raised concerns about some aspects of the plan.
