Bottom Bracket help

The BB on my 2010 Giant Defy 3 has finally died (FSA Omega Mega EXO BB and chainset). Can I use a Hollowtech 2 BB with the FSA chainset?? Or do I need to suck up the overpriced FSA BB??

    You only need the specific FSA BB if you have one of the FSA carbon chainsets: SLK Light or K Force. In your case a Shimano HTII BB will be compatible.

    I thought that might be the case as I run a HT2 with FSA cranks on my MTB, but I wasn't 100%sure on the road bike.
