Sport pursuit have some deals on Pearl Izumi clothing atm and I'm having a look at some of the winter gear to try and keep myself riding through the winter.

One of the features on items is a "Temperature Rating". Is that basically the temperature above which the jersey or jacket keeps you warm at i.e. "temperature rating: 10 degrees" and you'll be toasty above 10 degrees.

Or, as an alternative view for fellow hot-running folk, it's the outside temperature at which you will melt when wearing it. Don't take it as gospel.

Kinda turns out to me a moot point. They don't have any in my size (as usual) :(

Thanks though, might always need it later on.
