Hello

I'm new to this forum, so hope this is the correct place to post.

A while ago I bought a Bryton 50, and am mostly happy with it, except for one aspect - the elevation profile. Most reviews refer to the option to show the profile for your route, but I can't get it to display. The current altitude and cumulative ascent/descent can be shown as a numerical value, and reasonably well corresponds to that extracted from maps. Further, the option in the grid settings for elevation page is set to on.

However, during a ride if I scroll through the modes showing either the map or other ride data, no elevation profile page appears.

Am I missing something in how it is meant to be set up or selected, or does it sound like an error with the unit worth contacting Bryton about.

Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for a profile as you record a ride, I don't think it's possible. However, it will display if you are following a route you've programmed.

Plot your route on bikeroutetoaster or equivalent, save and upload to your Bryton 50. When you are in map mode just nudge the blue joystick to the right and you will "cycle" between map and profile.
