Broken Seat Tube Alloy Insert
Evening all.
I'm pretty worried right now because my bike picked up some damage this weekend, and I'm unsure whether or not it can be fixed. I have a carbon fibre frame that utilises an alloy insert in the seat tube, which is used for the seat post clamp to secure to. Unfortunately the tabs at the top of this insert have snapped off, as can be seen in the pictures. I'm assuming the insert is bonded into the frame during build, so does anyone know if it can be replaced? I was wondering if it was possible to ream out the old alloy seat tube insert and bond in a new one. However I don't know whether the heat generated during reaming would damage the carbon.
Does anyone know if this is possible to fix, or have any recommendations for a company that could do it?

Any decent carbon specialist will be able to sort that one out: nothing major, just scary to the untrained eye.0
