Gut rot, earache, headache or the sh**s 20 miles from home can ruin the day. These items weigh nothing, take up little room, and could save the day.
For: Road rash
1 non alcohol, 1 alcohol wipe, Tegaderm (or adhesive dressing) in medium press seal bag
Illness/pain
3 painkiller, 1 diarrhea, 3 antacid tablets in small press seal bag
Broken collarbone
Big safety pin. To pin bottom of jersey to collar for an improvised sling.
Other ideas:
Half a cotton wool ball for earache on cold, windy days, especially in the hills.
