Which should i buy?

Hi looking for some advice please, decided to buy a bike for weekend riding around the parks and local forest and have seen the Carrera Subway on halfords in the sale but have also been offered a Apollo Phaze for £80.00 in near brand new condition.

Is either of these bikes ok for what i want as do not know anything about bikes and complete newbie?

    Phaze is pretty aweful and won't last off road.

    the Subway is a hybrid with rigid forks, fine for smooth forest trails, but not a mountain bike, not brilliant but nice and solid.

    Of the two the Subway.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
