Just saw an advert telling cyclists not to run red lights. Didn't tell us that it's dangerous and illegal but instead tried to get us not to run reds by pointing out that it gives all cyclists a bad name, doing so in a slightly humorous way.

I guess people don't care if something is illegal or dangerous but do if it gives them a bad name

Well I've been critical in the past about the helpful cycling Scotland posters. You know, the one that tell drivers to give kids about 12 inches' space?

Still, this is the same country where the dot matrix signs on the motorways flash up such helpful messages as "Don't Speed" or "Don't do drugs and drive".

I've yet to see "Pity the Fool" though.
