what bike for a beginner 15stone

im gonna start road biking im 15 stone at the moment does it matter what bike I choose I was looking at a giant defy 1 or 2 is there better bikes out there for lets say"larger gentlemen" wanted to spend less than a grand

    I was just shy of 17 stone when I bought my Cannondale CADD8 Sora, down to 13st 9 now and its finally getting comfortable!!
