Tyre sidewall splitting

I've a pair of Conti Travel Contacts on my commuter and I've noticed there's a slight bulge on my rear tyre. After further inspection the side wall has split down what looks to be a seam running along the wall, it's probably only about a cm in length so am thinking it could be repairable.

My question is the seam looks to be glued should I look at gluing it, maybe making a boot out of an old tyre and stick to the inside I suppose I could look at doing both :) Then of course do I just bin the tyre and get a replacement?

Get a new tyre. I never compromise on sidewall damage.

New tyre time. I suggest not another Continental.

I've just come back from picking one up... mainly due to the fact it would be cheaper buying one than two other decent ones :-o

Bin it, in my experience bulges only get worse.

Just trashed a durano I caught on something and put a rip in. I booted it with ductape and an old tyre to get me by for a short time but it didn't hold very long and the rip got larger.
