Frame Swap....
Im just after some advice as im finally thinking of going upto a new Carbon frame...in particular the Planet X n2a...Cant afford the full bike so im thinking of taking the old components of my Giant Deffy3. With this in mind how difficulty will it be as the rear cables on the N2A are all internal. What other things will i struggle with and what if any components can i use off my existing one to make the transition cheap as?

I presume i'll need a new stem, headset etc as it looks like the forks on the N2A run different through the headtube.
Any advice would be great thanks
Burt

One main issue will be the bottom bracket.
The N2A has a BB30 press fit while your Defy has an FSA square taper with standard threaded BB. There are adaptors around - maybe something like this??

From what I've read internal cabling can be a monumental PITA but if the N2A has already been fitted with guides it might not be so bad. Best to check with Planet X what the frame is set up with first. if no pre-installed guides are present then you will most likely experience some grief installing the new cables.0 -
I went from a Trek 2.1 with internal routing to a Scott CR1 without. All the cables inner and outer transferred across without issue.0
