Advice Needed, Threaded Crank
Basically, I have a Campag Veloce chainset and the chainring bolt behind the crankarm will no longer tighten.
After inspected the bolt, it seems that the threads on the Bolt is fine, so I think the spider is threaded.
Has this happened to anyone else how did you remedy it?
I've only had the chainset a year, but I bought it from Onix Bikes, who I can't seem to find online anymore, I attempted to email them on an address from last year but that hasn't worked.
Any Advice anyone?

mmm holes are threaded.
you mean stripped.
but as i belive Campy still use male and female chain ring bolts I feel it is the fact you are not holding the other half of the bolt that is causing the lack of tightening?

Problem I've got is that its the bolt behind the crankarm so I can't see/find a female bolt0

You could get a helicoil fitted to the crankarm - this is a steel insert which replaces the original thread. You can buy kits to DIY, your LBS may have one or someone like Highpath Engineering certainly will.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
