Pins and needles in my feet

Hi all
i've had my bike for about 6 weeks, its all going great but one thing is starting to annoy me. i'm riding with shimano clipless pedals and after i've done 10ish miles i start to get pretty intense pins and needles in my feet, localised to the area where my cleats are. i can unclip and shake it out but i' wondering if its the position of the cleats? or maybe my position on the bike? or just something i need to mtfu and get used to?
Any ideas?
