Hi All,

I dont post on here much so sorry if this is in the wrong section, ive had a search but not found much.
Basically, i have a 2012 cube attention that i use to commute with. Its a great bike and with 2.0 marathons on it rides very well 8) the issue i am having is that my rucksack is killing my back as its full of work stuff, so i figured for commuting purposes id like to find some panniers.

i thought it would be simple..but im having trouble finding information on pannier racks that will fit 100%

does anybody have experience finding panniers to fit a cube attention with discs? and if so which should i go for?
i unfortunately dont have time in the evenings to venture to a cycle shop and dont want to pay for something online that i will have to send back as it doesnt fit.

All help appreciated

Can't help directly I'm afraid and I don't want to discourage you from using panniers (in my opinion a bike without a pannier rack is just a toy ;-) but if you don't have a lot of stuff, would a large saddle bag do instead? The larger ones are around 20l and carradice have a quick release system meaning that getting one on and off is easy.
  • I hadnt considered a saddle bag, although it'd still require use of my rucksack. You may well be onto something though as removing my pump, tubes/repair kit and multi tool would make some space in my rucksack  and i could still run my rear crudcatcher

panniers would be beneficial as i could just remove it and dont have to worry about forgetting a saddle bag and it getting stolen, which is not exactly a rare thing where i live

When I say saddlebag, I don't mean one of those tiny things for holding loose change. You could get far more than a pump and a multi-tool into one of these:
