    A poor effort. The drain is flush with the tarmac so quite possible to ride over. If they were doing it properly they would make sure there was a significant dip / gap, like this http://goo.gl/maps/LgTtY

    Yikes! I like how the cycle lane is just a part of the normal lane, so there isn't actually room for another vehicle to pass. If only there was some extra width available....you know, like a bit red hatched off section down the middle of the road :lol:

  • To be fair, the only reason that bit paint exists is to direct cyclists onto the shared use path on the left, via that bobbly bit of paving. But most cyclists I see there use the path all the way up anyway :)
