Hello,

My new bike search continues and I came across the Pearson Lighter Than Air. Looks a great frame and a great spec for the money, especially getting Ultegra Di2 for under £2.5k. Anyone got any thoughts? Seems a great bike for the money.

    Ultegra Di2 is ugly IMO

I don't like the downtube logo and bike has a £100 wheelset and bar positioning- is worryingly poor on that basis not for me!

The Ridley Helium (which arccording to the write is what that bike is) is an excellent frame. The gaudy graphics and choice of bargain basement components are poor, but bearing in mind the framset is £1800 on its own its probably not bad value and a good base for upgrades, although I'd sack the electronic shifting off and get better wheels.
