hi im interested in buying a new pair of calipers for my bike and want Campag record but really only want to spend chorus money..
so got about £120 to spend and dont know what to go for
i am interested in these
http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/BCP ... e_calipers
for the price £110 they look great and are nearly 100g lighter than the campag ones, does anyone have them? or know if they are any good
or even have a better solution to go for. !!!
really want black ones if i had the choice
cheers

Planet X calipers are like Marmite, you either love them or you hate them, if you don't mind tinkering with your brakes on a regular basis get them.
Personally I'd get the Chorus, you pay a hell of a lot for very little improvement between Chorus and Record and they'll be a damn sight better than Planet X.0 -
I have them Planet X callipers. I was sucked in by the weight of them and the price I paid (£80 i think?). They stop you but they are no where near as good as my Ultegra 6700 with the same pads, I imagine this will be the case with Campagnolo.0
