I have recently got the carbon itch and would love to build my own bike this summer. Problem is we are in the middle of moving so can;t afford a a carbon frame right now. Was thinking of starting with a carbon fork.

I have a 2011 Claud Butler san remo. What kind of measurements do i need to know and take when looking to buy a second hand carbon fork?

thanks

TBO I would just ride the CB San Remo as it is and buy the bits for the build as and when you can afford them to build it up as you go. There are usually good deals around on frames etc. from various retailers Ie carbon frame and forks £299
    Good luck with the build.

many frames come with a fork and headset, geometry can vary too, so a fork is not a great starting point for a build

i'd just wait/save until the right frame comes along, in the meantime research what's involved and what size frame you will need
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
