Scott Genuis MC40 - What rear shock? How to service??

Hi all.

I've just bought a Scott Genius MC40 2005 on Ebay. The shock will probably need a service - Can anyone tell me:
a) What rear shock it is?
b) How can I go about servicing it?
c) What might I be able to replace it with?

so you question might have been better with who services Scott shocks?

And with that, you'll notice that the google result is for the 2007 bike, not the 2005.
Second, the reason I am asking about servicing it myself, is because I happen to be in Kuwait - therefor no servicing it in the UK.

Strangely enough, the Kuwaiti postal system is non existent, so the post wont do...hence how do I do it myself?

You wont need to know then as you wont be able to get the bike or a service kit posted to you. Just bought a fancy looking hardtail!

You bought a scott frame on ebay, how is it getting to you?
If the answer is the post - then post the shock to TF in the UK. Problem solved.
