Hi,

I got all excited after seeing the rave reviews for the 2013 T129S and decided to wait for a 2014 version. I can't really stretch to the new price point and opted for the T129 instead. It seems they have made more cost cutting options this year (I guess to make people sway one way or the other) and wonder if I go for this bike am I going to regret the lower spec and wish I had gone for something like the Canyon Nerve AL 29 8.9? Is the T129 still a bargain or spec'd too low?

Cheers

Whyte is generally good for value compared to a lot of the market leaders

They whytes spec is fine and will certainly manage most UK terrain and there really isn't much difference with the T129s other than extra shock adjustments and slightly better drivetrain with some x9 and a small upgrade on the brakes

The canyon will be better value than the Whyte but it doesn't automatically make it better bike, ideally find a Canyon demo event and demo the Whyte
