Looking to replace my aging Specialized Rockhopper pro with something a bit more trail/play with a bit more travel up front, around 130-140mm travel over my current 100mm. Decided to stick to a hardtail and have about £1500 to spend. So far these two have caught my eye
http://www.whytebikes.com/2013/product.php?xProd=103&xSec=115 and http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/bikes/crush/.
But is there anything else out there people would recommend for the money?
I do quite like the idea of a 650b wheeled bike but not sure if the 650b fad will last but it looks like everyone is jumping on the band wagon so trying to get a 26" bike looks tricky to do.

Have a look at on one, cotic and genesis.Too many bikes, not all fully built.0

I had a look at the Cotic BFe but a build works out more than my budget, well for the components where I can find them, will check out Genesis and On One though0

The BFe is only £329. Add a fork (£300 for some sektors), wheels (£200 superstars), slx group set (£350 from merlin but probably cheaper from Germany) plus £300ish for bar, stem, headset, grips, tyres and saddle it should be achievable.
You can get some real savings shopping online at Bikediscount, rose etc.Too many bikes, not all fully built.0 -
You can get a full Shimano XT for £450 on German websites0
