Dura Ace 7900 Rear Derailleur Washer??

Apparently there is supposed to be a wave / crinkle / shakeproof washer between the hanger and the derailleur. Is this correct?

    If there was one needed, it would be supplied with the rear mech. The mech is attached using a pivot bolt with a shoulder and therefore relies on the friction between the bolt and the hanger - putting a washer in there would make it more likely to loosen.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
