Hello all,

I have been riding my Orbea Onix ttg 2012 model for a few months now and have been looking to upgrade the chainset. It is fitted with 105 mechs so i originally thought about a 105 chainset but i really like the FSA models to match my seatpost and stem. However being a fairly new cyclist I am unsure about bottom bracket types and sizes etc. :?

Does anyone know 1. what bottom bracket is fitted to my bike as the spec on the website doesn't say.
2. which, if any, bottom bracket would i need if i fit either an FSA SL-K light carbon chainset
or an FSA SLK-PRO chainset.

If anyone could recommend any other chainset upgrade options i would be considered and much appreciated.

Many Thanks :)

There is an FSA cross reference chart here. Most likely your frame has 68mm English BB.

Just wondering, why is the crankset the first thing you want to upgrade?

I have upgraded the wheels to Eastons, brakes to 105, tyres to ultremos, saddle to fizik and the cables to jagwire, the chainset is next on the list. to be honest I wanted something a bit lighter to reduce overall weight and also black to match the brakes and rest of the groupset just to tidy things up a bit.
