Hello all! This is my first post and it's a bit of a technical one.
I got some grit in my headset and it's making a grinding noise. I'm trying to remove the bearings to clean but I can't seem to get the bottom bearing out. There seems to be a thin clip or washer holding the bearing in place and i can't remove it without applying risky force. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance
Paul

Depends on the headset. Generally it's just a seal and you lever it out.I don't do smileys.

it might well be- more info needed.
but at a guess it is a cheap internal headset.
so what are you wanting to do?
replace or grease."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Don't panic, I re-greased it afterwards.........0
