Bike/Frame Size help...

I have seen a cracking deal on a mountain bike that I would like. Problem is, the frame size is XL, which fits 1.84-1.90m. I am 5" 9 and I would be better of with a Medium, or a Large.
Should I get the bike, will it be okay, can it be adjusted?
Or should I just look for another one?

Bad idea, it will be far too lare for you, at below average height you want a medium at the largest, probably a small.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

It's probably a cracking deal because not many people are 7 feet tall.I don't do smileys.

Imagine the trouble you'd have finding trousers to fit.0 -
Thank you for the replies, shame it's not a medium then. I can see why no one has bought it yet!B'TWIN Triban 5a0
