Replace Rear Campag Scirrocco bearings

Hello

Ive checked the campag site for guides which sort of helps, but I need some guidance from those with hands on experience.

Both my rear bearing races are on the way out so have bought some replacements. How difficult is it to strip, swap and rebuild the rear hub? Any pointers on what to remove and how to tighten the hub back up again?

Many thanks!

D

It's not going to be a world of difference from the Fulcrums Racing 5 Video here

What year model is yours, I have 2012 wheels and couldnt get the old bearings out, they press in and sit very very tight. I gave up and oiled them...

Yeah 2012. Hmmm, regreasing isn't really an option because they are rough as. I'll give that vid a go. Ta.

That vid is good but you need special tools. Has anyone found an alternative to the punch or the press shown? It looks expensive kit :(

    Have a look at:

Good exploded diagram for you. My Euruses have cones that slide off but the Sciroccos look identical to the Fulcrums as Woolferkins said.
You could prize the old ones off given some WD40 and some time providing you have replacement one's there in case you split them in the process!
