It's old. And looking at the gear it's in, and the position of the front qr makes me think the seller isn't much of a bike person. You could be looking at loads of worn out components.
You can find much better bikes for less. Last year I put a 3 year old Dolan with full Chorus and Vento wheels on eBay with no reserve and it went for £280
I turned down cash offers of £500 saying that I wanted the auction to run its course. I was expecting it to go for around £1000. The guy who picked it up was grinning from ear to ear

Unfortunately for every well looked after, decent bike on ebay, there are loads of worn out has-beens. People sell bikes when they become money pits, needing new transmissions / rims etc. It's not easy for people who are not sure what they are looking at.
At least with new bikes you know what you are getting. (IE censored wheels on the triban :-)

I'd avoid.
nearly pulled the trigger on a triban 3.

Apart from the fact it is being sold with no wheels or cassette but detailed as selling for £3500 in 2011!!
Not without wheels and cassette it wouldn't have been.
