Is it ok to mix brake pads - e.g. kevlar on front sintered on back, or is it best to change all the pads to the same type at the same time?

The advice with rim brakes is that it's fine to have different pads front and back, but you shouldn't mix them in the same caliper - it may be that the same applies with disk brakes

No reason not to have different compounds in one caliper, quite common in motorsport to get a wider operating range (temperature), although as Kevlar provides the feel of organic with the durability of sintered, why would you...sintered have less fade resistance than organic though, just ask anyone who rides in the alps.
