2014 Wilier GTR Ultegra Green/Yellow Fluro

Got my new bike a couple of weeks ago. Ended up buying from Bikebuster in Denmark as ATB the distributors for Wilier UK had decided they were not bringing the particular model/colour I wanted to the UK, typical.....

Anyway everything turned out ok buying from Bikebuster! Would definitely buy from them again.

Anyway here is my bike, I have changed out the wheels as it came with Shimano R500s.

I'll get some better pics up tomorrow.

    Loving it! Much more relaxed that my BMC Streetracer. Furthest I have done so far is 30 miles, but all good.

    Yep no worries. It was £1713.33 all in delivered.

    Now this is where the slight confusion starts, I think this is some sort of launch promotion bike. Possibly this one:

    The price I got quoted for the 2014 GTR Ultegra (only available in Black and Red in the UK) was £2199.

    The bike I have seems to have a mixed of Ultegra (2013) and Tiagra.

    Shifters, rear mech are Ultegra.
    Front mech, chain, cassette are Tiagra, (although I changed the cassette to Ultegra when I changed the wheels).

    I'm not sure how many of these promotion bikes are available, but there is a difference in spec and a big difference in price.

    For me it's worked out well, got the main ultegra parts I wanted, saved a few quid so I could put the wheels I wanted on. Most importantly got the colour I wanted :-)

    Interesting....quite a mix, Ultega and Tiagra, not Ultegra snd 105.... Still, I love the colorway and nice price! I think Wiler do some of the best looking frames out there, both in terms of sweeping lines but also for graphics.....i think the green touches on ths realy make it.

    Why are they not bringing that colour combo into the UK? Looks so much sweeter than the usual white, black and red nonsense!

    You will be able to get that colour, but it will be the 105 version. Ultegra only available in black and red.
