I am a tall rider w/a short reach who needs a short head tube. My custom Indy Fab is very comfortable, but the front wheel does not clear my foot at full extension. It is not a problem unless I am making a severe turn, but it strikes me as unsafe. Anyone aware of a possible equipment solution - handlebar? stem angle? seat post or saddle? I have been racking my brain.

  • Toe overlap isn't the end of the world. Unless you fall off and die. Then it is.
Have you tried pointing your toes downwards?
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

Toe overlap is normal on modern road bikes. It is not an issue unless you are going very slowly I which case take your foot off the pedal.

    Some solutions are

    1. Try a fork with a longer rake/offset
    2. Move your cleats forwards on your shoes
    3. Get shorter length cranks

Adjusting your handlebar, stem angle, seat post or saddle will make no difference whatsoever.

Don't pedal while you're making sharp turns.
