Just curious as to whether anyone has info on Canyon going 650b.

All the other manufacturers are, so was checking if there was anything on the grapevine?

Nothing announced, they tend to be a bit behind the times really. Took them ages to do a 29er anything...

IIRC they're currently testing a 650b enduro bike on the enduro world tour under the likes of Fabian Barel and Joe Barnes. No idea when it'll be released and there's strictly no photos allowed to be taken. All very secretive!!

Looks like a Horst Link 650b. Sort of a scaled down version of the Nerve 29er with a slacker enduro head angle.

I believe the Strive continues in production in 2014 but with much improved Fox suspension.

The Strive is staying for 2014. The 2013 bike's just received a lacklustre review in this month's MBUK group test (criticised for overly linear suspension too prone to going through its full travel) and CAnyon say "The Strive is set up for average riders who want to have a plush rear end and use the travel in a more linear way. For racers od those guys riding harder we will offer the 2014 models with other shocks (Rockshox Monarch Plus and Fox Float X) which are more progressive and give more feedback in the middle stroke".

I understand that the Nerve AL will be 650b with 120mm travel and there will be a Spectral AL that will be offered as a 650b with 140mm travel and a 29er with 130mm travel.
