Looking for a cheap MTB for trails and paths.
Clocked this example on ebay.
Listed as a Trek 4500. Year unknown and priced around £100.
Anyone tell me if the listing is correct, is it worth the money, and has anyone any info re spec etc?
Frame size is stated as being 17". Would this suit my 30" inside leg?
Thanks.

Size is in the ballpark, but only you can know when you try it. Nice little bike for milder trails and the like.0

I use my trek on some rough trails and its fine, after i bought a stronger rear wheel after bending the rim lolgerroffandmilkit wrote:Looking for a cheap MTB for trails and paths.

Looking on bikepedia it looks like a 2004 that's had the paint stripped.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
