Richard's selective modding

So, Richard mod is saying that my active thread is "The Big Girl's Thread" because out of 2,thousand whatever posts I have made 23 (or 1.23% per cent) of them on there.
Could this because a)no other thread has gone on that long or b) because no other thread has gone on that long.
He has also now locked the "angry man hooting at cyclist" thread to "prevent further embarrassment".
To tell the truth, I honestly though that I had posted more in the fabled "steak and water" or associated threads over the years I have been a member of these forums, but hey - probably 3/4 posts per annum in one thread isn't too bad (those include never having posted a picture because I don't know how to)
Has anyone else been victim of Richard's selective modding?
Is this allowed?
We should know!

Take it to the 'discuss the website' thread.
The people who run the site look at that part. Not this.0 -

The fact that I completely misread that post reflects badly on me.“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
Was the thread locked to save richard from further embarrassment as my deleted comments suggested. If the people who do run the website read this and not other parts of the forum then why have the option to email them - I emailed Jeff Jones about the lies Rick Chasey told him to become a mod - I know Rick lied because another forum member asked Jeff Jones why Chasey became a mod (that forum member has now been banned) and that forummember emialed me Jeff Jones response - Is Richards selective modding to protect what he sees as an important role in his small life?
We all know someone with a limited life experience like Rick Chasey should not be modding a cycling forum which by its very nature is communal and social minded.
And again, as I have asked Jeff Jones before can I have an email link to someone in future publishing so I can make a complaint about Rick Chasey and Jeff Jones -it's a simple request isnt it?The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
Clumsy modding, deleting and locking threads, insulting members. The whole forum is getting ridiculous, but surely Rick Chasey's position is completely untenable?0

Serious business this internet, eh?“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0

Not sure what this is about - the forum is free, we have volunteer mods, ergo nothing is ever going to be perfect but they do keep things relatively civil and spam free. It would be a lot worse without them.
If you want to make a complaint you can email the site publisher Dave Clutterbuck (firstname.lastname@futurenet.com)Jeff Jones

This seems a good recent case in point...

I was trying to get my head around the logic used when Mods sensor words or delete threads and then there is cristicism implied as the thread goes on and whoosh, thread gone :?
In parts of the forum like BB surely banter and horseplay is more acceptable?
Seems like over sensative to me!"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

Has Cleat been banned and if so why?
Ditto Arran77?
How come Supersonic and other mods on this forum seem to rule with an even and fair hand?
Can anyone tell me why Mr J Jones has not responded directly to one of our most stalwart of forumites who adds a degree of colour and contrast which many can only envy?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I'll throw one in and say that Rick is abusing his power a bit, and is being very rude to members. His whole attitude of "you can talk about anything I have said except for my modding" is rather counter productive to positions of power, and strikes me as very condescending/higher than thou.
I highly suggest removing him, I have been on this forum for many years and for the first time I feel the need to actually complain about a moderator. I am very understanding and light hearted, but even I feel he is taking his role way too seriously.0 -

I have to agree, Ricks approach can come across as condescending at best and isn't constructive. It only serves to create an uncomfortable environment for all.
Ps. This is in line with Ricks previous post stating he's ok with people criticising him, but not the modding.Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.
