Some makes do have xx large frames. As at any shop. trek do/did a few frames for giants."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Well, philosophy aside, my FS is 22" and is perfect. My inbred is 20" and is definitely too small - looks it, too.
Like steel, but can't find any frame above 20.5"....My On One Inbred and Com Meta 5.5.1:

Small in what way? Reach varies massively between stated sizes, need to look at top tube lengths too.0

Have you thought about a 29er, if you find a large 26er too small. But as above, it's the reach that really matters, you can always put the seat up a bit.Planet X Kaffenback 2

The extra-large in some On-One frames is 21" - is that too different? I'm 6' 4" and find the 21" Scandal a perfect fit with a 90mm stem. There's the Inbred 29er if you're determined to go for steelSpecialized Roubaix Elite 2015

Ha! We are same hight , then. The Scandal, yes, but do want steel.... may have to be the 29er although I'm not yet sure how I feel about that; must try some.
Also, why is it that aluminium frames come in XL, although steel ones don't?My On One Inbred and Com Meta 5.5.1:

Volume, the XL is a small percenetage of sales, add in that steel is a small percenetage of all frame sales and you end up with them being uneconomic to build/stock.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Yep that does make sense... in any case, I happen to think that the 29er mountain bikes just look plain awful. My On One Inbred and Com Meta 5.5.1:

It's a matter of taste, and bear in mind that you're not looking at your bike when you're climbing hills . . .Specialized Roubaix Elite 2015

I happen to think a 22" 29er looks about right, much like an 18" 26er!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

If you can get hold of an Orange R8 in 21, they have a 640-ish ETT.
Mine is fitted with a 130mm stem.
I had difficulty in finding a 'off the peg' steel hard tail; it took a while.
BTW, I am also 6' 4"0 -
Finally, thank you, a suggestion for the original question! Will look for one...My On One Inbred and Com Meta 5.5.1:
