I have the original carbon sportive version which until very recently was my best bike, accompanying me on mountain trips and such like, i've been nothing but happy with it since 2010, alas the arrival of two new carbon bikes recently means the Ribble is now my summer commuter, which in a way is even better because I get to ride it even more.

Hope you get as much fun out of yours, enjoy!

Take this somewhere else but on my thread.

Ahh, but you see - this isn't your thread. You are the OP but once you post a thread it belongs to all. Sorry, but that's internet forums for you. But no more refs to the spelling thing from me - Bagggers is too deranged to argue with!

Anyway, these damn things are getting common as muck. I was out on mine yesterday - passed one on the way to Pateley Bridge and another was outside the cafe in Masham we went to. A particularly tasteful, early example that was - all proper Campag Centaur - exactly like mine!

    To the OP.
What type of tape is on the handlebars? I know your post says Deda Traforeto but it looks like Fizik logos in the picture. I'm not being pedantic, I just like the look of the Fizik tape and wondered what type it was so I can look at ordering some for my GF.
Nice bike by the way, although I would say that :D

    Cheers

  • Great bike, same as mine but I had a 6 week wait with Ribble despite them telling me the frame was in stock and the bike would be with me within 2 weeks, to sum Ribble up - they knock out great value bikes but their customer service skills could be vastly improved - enjoy!

    Nice bike.

But would look so much better without the bag, as per

I love the way Ribble just knock together bikes, something is out of stock, balls to it stick one of them on it and send them the bike.

Nice bike - congrats! I have the same one...105 groupset, but different colours...red tape etc. Love it, it rides so well.

I also seem to have been the exception to the rule in that I was really very pleased with their customer service when i ordered it...they were very patient with me on the phone re sizing and deliberating, and were then honest that it would probably take 6 weeks, and indeed then kept me up to date.
