Free hub noise

Hi all,
I have a Zesty 314 with Mavic crossride wheels, over the past few rides I've noticed what I can only describe as a grating/whining noise coming from the freehub. This only becomes apparent when carrying a fair bit of speed and when freewheeling or back pedalling. The hub itself does not appear to have too much play in it but the occurance of the noise is increasing quite quickly so a solution is needed asap.
Can this be repaired or is it time for a new freehub? Any advice gratefully accepted.

Thanks, Steve.

That will be the Mavic 'screech of death', the plain plastic bush has failed, can be replaced (ebay)
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
