Hi everybody,
I am looking to buy a low cost, low maintance commuter bike to tackle my 6 mile commute to the university and lock it around there so I wont risk my expensive mtb getting stolen
I spoted Vitus Vee-1 and I really like its style and simplicity. I am 1.71 cm tall{5' 7.3"} and I am not exactly sure which of the two sizes {16'' or 19"} to pick? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=80999 What do you guys think?
There is also this fuji bike http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=89810 that looks pretty sorted but I cannot seem to find any technical and geometry details even in the manufacturers website. Has anybody tried this bike? Will the 52cm frame be alright for me?
Do you have any simillar bikes in mind ?
Thank for your time

I have the 19" Vee 1 29er - I'm 183cm (6ft all bit a sqidgion) and I think my bike would be too big for you by some way.Raymondo

So I should go for 16". Is the singlespeed functional can you tackle longer commutes? I have the legs to push it{riding mtb for 4 years} if I need to but will it slow me down a lot?0 -
Single Speed will be fine,
I am often slower than single speed/fixed bikes, and you can always adjust the gearing to suit you."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."
PX Kaffenback 2 = Work Horse
B-Twin Alur 700 = Sundays and Hills0
