BB86 plastic(composite) vs metal compatibility ?

Bought replacement press fit bottom bracket BBAL86 manufactured by FSA. The new ones have plastic cups whereas the old ones are a nice bit of machined aluminium. Should I worry about this, and try to get hold of the same style metal cups or are the plastic ones better? The plastic version will fit thought they are slightly different on the inboard side. All advice welcome

    As long as you have a compatible BB I wouldn't worry about it. If anything I suspect the plastic version will be less prone to creaking.
