Chris King Hubs - Worth the £££?

Are Chris King Hubs worth the cost? Are they significantly better than say Dura Ace hubs?

I think they look cool, especially in all the colour combinations etc. But at £550 a pair before you've even looked at the rims etc they're not exactly cheap. Do they last forever? Is that what you get for the money?

    Dunno but I wouldn't pay it. I really rate my Hope hubs - wouldn't spend more.

    In a word no... if you want excellent engineering, buy Royce, they are British and they are better
