First time poster! Hello everyone :D Name is Kenneth, from Randleman, NC...near the Greensboro area. Full time mechanic at Performance Bicycles and I love bicycles. Started cycling about 5 years ago and lost 70lbs that way.

I just got my new bike Wednesday after selling my long time baby, 2010 Bianchi Infinito. I've upgraded to electronic shifting and couldn't be happier so far!!

Good to see an American bike brand that is not just a Specialized clone. Not got a lot of information available on the website about them. How much did it set you back? Whats the weight? How does it compare to the Bianchi? Is it more race or comfort?

Does look a great bike. Enjoy !!

Retail is $4600 but I got an EP price (the ONLY reason I got rid of the Bianchi) The weight with stock wheels and no pedals/accessories is right at 16.6lb and after I had it set up to my liking, ~17.5lb so I'm not complaining.

Eventually I'll upgrade the wheelset and drop it down :) and as for geometry compared to the Infinito, much more race oriented but still comfortable! The headtube on the Kestrel is 160mm whereas the Bianchi was right over 180mm. 57 top tube vs 56 top tube, respectively...so it's a bit longer and lower.

I would LOVE to eventually get the battery internal too...make it look even cleaner!
