Hi all,
I have a question about marathon events in the uk. Are there many events that are actually races? I have seen the marathon serie of events (used to be crc now schwebe I think) but these emphasise the non competitive nature, I guess these are the equivalent of road sportives. Is it that there are not many races, or is this series run as a race to all extents and purpose?
Looking to find some to ride this year or next, but am drawn to competition!

Should maybe have been a bit more specific on location, based near Bristol, so ideally south west. I m aware of things like Bristol bike fest, but I m drawn more to point to point or larger area races rather than short multi lap events0

Very few point to point events, mainly due to issues around racing on bridleways. Kielder 100, but that's been cancelled this year. TransWales, can't think of many others frankly.0
