A short while back Garmin emailed to offer a limited number of places for a 50 mile ride with the Garmin team in early September, competition closed on Monday this week and winners of the 500 positions were to be notified by today. Did anyone else enter and maybe even get a place?. I didn't receive an invite by email so :(

If you did get a place and decide its not for you let me know as am prepared to part with some hard earned cash to have a place... pretty please

Just turn up with your Garmin. It's like an 'access-all-areas' pass.
  • Just turn up on the day ffs

Don't worry the date will keep getting put back until everyone thinks that the event will never take place. Then out of the blue, they'll announce the event will happen in a month's time. No one will believe them and no one will turn up.

I got a confirmation email on Thursday. It's worth notijng they will have a fair few people who can't make it of the 500 invited. Might be worth dropping them an email telling them how great Garmins are, and how do you get on the reserve list.

Hardly an email to a limited few. I don't follow Garmin Sharp yet I received an email. I didn't bother to apply.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

Might just have to do this, what is the local radio station for the area?, might be able to pick it up from Brighton.

I have emailed Garmin as well but doubt whether the right person will get it as there was no direct email address to contact
