So after my issues with my old hub, I have gone a got a cheap wheel to get me to work and back.
Got a btwin wheel £35 from decathlon.
Do I need to do anything to the wheel before chucking on the cassette and fitting it to my bike?

As long as it's got rim tape fitted, just transfer the cassette together with any spacer to the new wheel and tighten up the lock-ring. Fit your tyre and tube and off you go!0

They are good strong wheels for commuting, just keep an eye on the hubs / bearings. Keep checking for play on the wheel as sometimes can be a bit loose after bedding in.0
