Not London, but in Bristol this time. In an area where I have ridden and that is covered by a shared use path but from the scant details of the media reports I'm guessing this has happened where the SUP ends.

As you can see from Google maps the SUP on the left hand side stops at the traffic lights and you can cross the road but after that there is no safe route. Given the time of day I guess the cyclist was on his way out of Avonmouth.
