Campag Veloce shifting issue

Hi,

please excuse my daftness im not very technical.

just been for a ride and half way round my gears started playing up. on the rear cassette i cant go in either the highest or lowest gears so i have the use of about 3 on the cassette. the shifter at the front also seems to have a lot of play in it. Is this a job for my LBS or does anyone have a suggestion

Ime no bike mechanic but it sounds like the limit screws may not be set, or is the outer cable worn. This will prevent the gear cable from operating correctly. There are lots of video's on u tube showing how to set limit screws. Not sure about front shifter hopefully someone else may be able to help :-). Don't be afraid to have a go, you will save yourself a lot of money long term. good luck
