Built this up a few weeks back and am enjoying it so far. I am sure everyone has read loads of views on these frames so wont put my opinion except to say I think they are great value.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer.
Only thing left to do really is to cut the steerer now I am happy with the ride height.

Nice job on the bar tape, internal cabling looks boss. Gonna need to level those shifters mind.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

Lovely bike, what size frame is that?0
-
Thanks.. Yea the shifters need adjusting a bit, they feel ok when on the bike though so will do it when I need to replace the bar tape!
This is a medium size.0 -
If it's Fizik Microtex bartape you're using (and it looks like you are), then you should be fine to remove it and reinstall without issue. It's one of the few bartapes which allow you to do it.0

Thanks Dennis, yes it is. I will give it a go but not too worried as it feels nice to ride, just looks not 100% in pics!0

If it was me,initially, I'd just just rotate the bars a few mm to level them off.0

Hey,
Had an R872 for about a month which I've built up with Sram Rival, getting a bit of cable rattle though from inside the tubes..
Have you had this at all.?0 -
Thanks, will try rotating the bars a bit to see if that helps.
Not had any problems with cable rattle but when I installed them I took a lot of time to get them right. If you turn the bike upside down there is a small metal cover that you can open.. You might be able to secure them from there to save too much hassle. Be careful not to pull too hard on the cable outers though as they are in two sections that slot into each other and are a pain in the bum when they come apart!0 -
Great shots...0

Looks awesome!
Can i ask, how tall are you and what frame size did you go for ?
Ordered mine just over a week ago, looking forward to it being delivered.0 -
Thank you.
I am 5'9, inside leg is about 30. I went for the medium (50) size and it is bang on for me. Remeber to keep and eye on the headtube sizes too. Hope you enjoy it...0 -
