Considered "bargain bike of the century" by both bikeradar and MBR*, due to this they are almost impossible to get hold of, so mine is now made entirely from unobtainium and win. Reviews and spec here and here

Purchased for Lycra clad XC mile munching and commuting, she's currently weighing in at a slightly portly 14kg dead with m520's fitted. When I start messing about I'll weigh a few of the usual parts to see where some lard can be shed.

Dammit, took the thing out for a test run this evening and got two PBs including a third best time overall on a technical climb on strava. On blue runs it's faster than my trance x. Slower on tight reds and black runs.....so far

Cracking bike to ride, really, really impressed with it for a 600 quid bit of kit. The raidon fork is brilliant.

Hate to say it but I'm coming round to the idea of 29ers.

Thats a tasty looking bike. How did Halfords make any money out of them with that spec.

Voodoo are hitting all of the right spots!

I wanna see them bring out a higher spec bike though.

And the Zobop need's to come back.

Apart from the suntour fork, (which is a budget offering but certainly works very well, if a little heavy) it's fairly cheap shimano running gear, but as it's shimano it just works.

I'll have to see how the unbranded stuff holds up over time.

and compare the spec on some bikes that cost £200 more. You may find even cheaper gear compared to voodoo.

On flickr you need to make sure its viewable by everyone when you upload the photo. Underneath the photo is some icons and one of them looks like an arrow coming out of a box. Click this and a window will come up click the size you want from the drop down menu click BB code and copy the code by right clicking and copying. Then paste it into your reply without using url tags

That's really nice, this or the Canyon Yellowstone could tempt me to get a 29er.
I have a Raidon fork on my 26' genesis, must say I was pleasantly surprised. Pleasantly plush and plenty stiff for a QR, much more so than my Rebas (although they were more plush and coped with smaller bumps better). Weight is on the high side but for the price can't argue.

I didn't realise these were hard to get hold of, but having said that the large Halfords near me doesn't have any in stock that I have noticed.

From what I can gather Halfords have exclusive rights to the name in Britain and spec the bikes exclusively for Britain. Joe Murray does the frame design but probably has little to do with the actual assembly just lets the license fees roll in.

I think you'll find that's wrong, the same Voodoo's are available across Europe....Halfords have UK exclusivity, much lke the Boardman sales model AIUI.
