Take a look at this short video;

All of sudden my front shifter is doing this and not moving the front deraulleur or feel like its tensioning the cable....anyone any ideas? Is it likely the shifter is knackered?

Thanks for any help/suggestions.
Cheers, Stu

    Had an alternative opinion from a bike mech and the consensus is its knackered.
    Hopefully Ribble will agree!
    Not bad for 1 week old. :(

    Well at least, given your location, you can pay them a personal visit. Would be interested to hear how you get on.

    Any update on this?

    I have a suspicion that my 10 month old front 7900 STI lever bought from Ribble is becoming stiff and am interested to see how they deal with issues (somehow I doubt they will be as good as Amazon).

    Hi, sorry, yep they exchanged it for a new one though I had to go in after 3 days. Not sure how you would fair remotely as I did phone to chase it up but was told you had to email returns, I went in in person though.
